Title: Village Variations
Voicing/Format: Organ Folio
Publisher: Morning Star Music Publishers
Composer: Carter, Andrew
Catalog #: MSM10-976
This piece was crafted when the composer was asked to write an organ composition for the re-opening of the Lewis organ at Great Wenham Church in Suffolk. The theme is an original creation based on the idea of a folksong, and the ensuing ten variations take a light-hearted look at what composers over the centuries might have played had they visited Great Wenham.
