Variations on Lift High the Cross (CRUCIFER) has a fanfare introduction, whichalso can be used as a hymn introduction. That is followed by an Allegretto, Meditation, Scherzo, Reflection, and Finale. Also included are two variations,Trumpet Tune and Exaltation, which work well as postludes. Exaltation can alsoserve as another hymn introduction.
