The characteristic clicking noise of the telegraph was produced by a series of brass keys and electromagnets. This piece is a musical representation of the rhythmic drone produced by this unique machine. The strict, dry rhythmic dialogue used throughout the piece is in stark contrast to the occasional legato and flowing melody. Your students will have a blast with this one!
