Prairie Songs

Two Midwestern folk tunes, one tragic and one humorous, skillfully combined. The first section, The Pinery Boy, conveys a feeling of grandeur and beauty of the land. The second section quotes The Turkey Song. Common melodic patterns between the two songs make them sound as though they are related. A wonderful masterwork!
