** Stanton's Staff Selection - 2004 **
Themes from Elgar's four processional marches, including the traditional graduation march, have been arranged for young band and remain recognizable. Use this arrangement as a concert piece, or employ the optional D.C. and gain some good P.R. by playing an elementary/kindergarten graduation or an awards ceremony. Concept reinforcement includes repeats, first and second endings, staccato articulation, key change (concert Eb to Bb), D.C. (optional), as well as eighth and sixteenth note rhythms. A very usable and teachable piece!
