Ah, the treasures that can be found and the life lessons that can be learned while exploring in your grandparents' attic! After Grandma and Grandpa purposely leave open a trunk full of costumes, props, and memorabilia from their Broadway careers for their grandkids to find, it is soon discovered and the adventure begins. The kids entertain themselves through song and dance by utilizing some of the goodies found inside, and they soon realize that everyone needs to make room for a little fun, make-believe, and showbiz in their lives. Easily costumed and flexibly staged, this approximately 20-minute mini-musical easily allows the involvement of more than one age group. There are ten main characters with speaking and singing roles, but the choir or chorus can include as many students as you like on risers or platforms behind them. This product includes the vocal/piano scores, reproducible scripts, and a mixed-media CD, complete with the performance and accompaniment tracks and reproducible vocal parts.
