Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's father Leopold was an excellent musician and had an offbeat sense of humor. This "Children's Symphony" was written to charm young people. As in the original, there are "holes" where sounds other than notes are to be heard. They are dictated in the score and parts. A nice novelty piece, it will add humor and brevity to your next concert.
