Dave and Jean Perry give us a wonderful new mini-musical for the holidays called Granny McBee's Christmas Eve. No one tells a bedtime story like Granny McBee, especially on Christmas Eve. Watch as her precious grandchildren becomesleepy during her storytelling and drift off to dreamland. It seems their dreams come to life right before our eyes through the magic of song. The performance runs about fifteen minutes and can be performed with as few as fifteen to twenty students or as many as you would like to include. The songs are accessible for all grade levels and the simple production could be presented on a gymnasium floor, on risers, or even on an elaborate stage. The sky is the limit with this holiday musical that hearkens back to the simple elementary programs of the past. The kit includes the director's score and reproducible singers' pages, as well as an Enhanced StudioTrax CD with accompaniment and performance tracks, a poster, program, art elements, composers' biography, and a personal note to directors from Dave and Jean Perry. Truly a great budget stretcher and a winning production for the holidays!
