This festive setting of LANCASHIRE is particularly appropriate for Easter whenusing "The Day of Resurrection" text, and also useable for general use when using "Lead On, O King Eternal." The piece begins with a brass and organ introduction, followed by the first stanza in unison. The stanzas are each treated differently and conclude with an expansive arrangement of the final stanza with a soaring soprano descant.
