Feature your trombone section on this version of Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies from Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker. It's in a jazz style and really lays hard on the trombone glissandos. A great piece for introducing triplets, blues scales, and the occasional 16th note run in the woodwinds. There are plenty of cued sections to match your instrumentation, too.
