Lively syncopation and choral call-and-response resound in this energetic Christmas anthem by Phyllis Wolfe White. A terrific choice for worship and Christian school concerts, it can be performed by either treble or mixed voices. The composer recommends the use of small percussion to enhance the Latin flavor of the piece. Also encouraged is the use of optional hand claps and the doubling of the piano part with marimba or other pitched percussion; an orchestrated Performance/Accompaniment CD is available separately.
